How have you discovered MUGEN and which was your first char?

| How you discovered the existance of MUGEN?
And which was the first char you added to your MUGEN just after downloading it?
I discovered MUGEN by seeking Dragon Ball AF videos on Youtube, then saw a vid of a MUGEN fight betwenn SSJ5 Goku, Nightmare SSJ3, and other DBAF chars... Then feel in love with the game.
My 1st char I added was an HD Vegetto, and later I got some DBZ chars by Gohan SSM2. And later... Well, a lot more of chars.

| There was a fighting game tournament once in Indonesia, I checked it out & it had a variety of chars, from MvC to SNK, MK to CvS, I though it was amazing & asked the one holding the tourney about the game. They told me it was called MUGEN, a fighting engine.
I searched for MUGEN on google & downloaded it off a MUGEN website (now defunct).
My first char would be CVS2Kyosuke by Byakko.

| There was a MUGEN tournament?
I would have used cheap chars (Sephiroth, or my Kira LOL) and win easily =P.

| The characters were already on the PC, it was held in a event at Jakarta Fair 2006, so we couldnt bring our own characters, we had to use the ones in the PSs.

| Then, when nobody is watching you, you could edit the .cns files and set the attack to 9999 and the defense too, and the life too, and... Hehehehe...
Ok that was a joke.
Anyway, it would be cool to be on a MUGEN tournament, and it would be even better if they leave you to take a char of yourself there, of course, first checked by somebody to see if they're cheap or not.

| First time i seen some videos on Youtube just searched Cloud vs Sephiroth and found a video with mugen.I downloaded it and followed the whole tutorial on how to make it work.
My first char was KH2 Cloud after him was 3D Cloud

| i discovered mugen while looking for Castlevania things in youtube, got intrested in it and my first char exept KFM was ryu SFA (street fighter alpha)

| I discovered the existance of MUGEN not long ago on a forum. It was a time when finding a character was very difficult. The rules were different and there were a lot of private and forbidden chars. IMO this is the best time for mugen players cuz we can get almost any char we want. The general quality of chars has improved also.

| I downloaded mugen all characters battle zero with lots of chars in it. A very good compilation of chars for starters.
