Uhhh..I tried to create a char and started a standing animation with a elecbyte template.
I put all the stand sprites and put it in the animation. The sprites were all from a group named '1'.
I had 3 sprites and time in 2 ticks. I tested the char in winmugen plus to see the stand animation but
the char was blinking. Can you help me solve my problem?

blinking because you have a blank frame (that was there before you added the stance sprites). all anims have that blank frame
just go to your anim and you will see + and - for both the anim number and the frame number. you need to use the - for the frame number, which is below

anim number means 0 (stance), 11 (crouch), etc
frame means the sprites, like you said, your 0 anim has 3 sprites but you will see there are 4 because of the blank frame. remove it and it should not blink anymore

I used fighter factory classic, there are only 3 sprites and 3 frames in the standing animation
time is 2 game ticks per frame, btw...My char is incomplete. Only the intro, standing, turning,
walking forward and running forward animations are there, the rest I haven't made.
I checked the standing animation but there were no blank frames. Sprite 9000,0 is at the top
and sprite 9000,1 is at the bottom. The sprites are arranged by group # smaller to higher.
It's still blinking. I used winmugen plus.

Sorry, maybe a bit more specification would be helpful

i really dont know what is causing the blinking other than blank frames. at least i cant think of any possible reason for now
you can send the char if you want here

ok checked. your stance sprites has 3 frames
but the first frame has black background, the other 2 has white
now look at your palette, you made your background white (the bottom right color of the palette)

that would probably work if you added the stance sprites as NOT shared palette. but you used shared palette. so your colors must be from the palette and your background color must be the same as the palette's background color

also, better start with new sff rather than deleting those sprites one by one (the blank ones)
go to menu bar, sprites ---> New
it will make a new sff then save it as shared palette sff
then add sprites again

remember one thing though.
colors of your small portrait (small icon in select screen) should be from the palette too
colors of your big portrait can be NOT from palette (it is recommended also not to have its colors from palette)
then you add both as 9000 group sprite but NOT shared palette

ok, i've got a problem again, I tinkered a bit but now the transparency doesn't work. The animation doesn't blink anymore. I used fighter factory ultimate now. can someone help me? btw...I erased all the sprites except for the stand sprites
