Tsukasa and Kagami crash help

There are Tsukasa and Kagami characters by Yogoreneko released a while ago. I downloaded them from their site and Mugen crashes whenever I select them on the select screen, I think i might know that the problem has to do with the .ACT files, as they are in gibberish and the names in the .DEF file are in japanese. I tried changing the names of the ACT files and changing them accordingly in the DEF file, but there were 10 files and 11 pallette options in DEF, and as a result, mugen would crash at the loading screen.

any of you have any idea what could be wrong?

p.s. the whole site is in gibberish for me too. not sure why.

i didnt download the chars, but if there are more than 1 .act file, they only mean that there are alternate palettes (the char can use different colors, but only one at a time) try changing the act filename of 1 file only then correct it in def and remove the other palettes listed in def. test the char, if it works, then do the same to others

tried your suggestion, no dice. Mugen crashes the same as ever with them in my Select.def file. thanks for trying though.
