| i downloaded the v-tech lifebars and i wanna use the custom portraits, i checked the readme and it sez this: ;------------------------------------------------------------------------
; To implement this lifebar to your MUGEN

1- Add the files to the designated folders (files in the fonts folder go
into fonts, data into data, etc.)
2- Open the system.def and change this line, "fight = fight.def",
to "fight = VP_Fight.def"

Alternative (for custom portrait usage)
"fight = VP_Fight_01.def"
;----------------------------------------
3- open your mugen.cfg in the data folder and set the time to 200
4- Start MUGEN.exe i already did the number 1,2,3,4 but they dont show up!
do i need to use ryu or i can also use the slightly pissed up ryu for the custom portraits???
also i maked a costom portrait for akuma: i need normal akuma or it works with any akuma???

| hmmm......so you'ren saying that the custom portraits don't work on your chars?
well, try using rugal or m.bison. or try using other characters that you have.
as for akuma, it should probably work with any popular akuma char. sometimes the char portraits don't work on the new ones because they're new. P.S.i can't believe i came up with this reply! (if this doesn't work, ask someone else)

| After you make a custom portrait for a character, you have to input the sprite into the character.
Use FF or FFU, & after you inputted the sprite, make the Sprite Group & Image like this
