Now how do I delete that sound?
(The sound which I am talking about comes when the char teleports).

well, record a empty sound wav file compatible with the snd file
(you open the snd file with fighter factory to see the stats the wav file has to have)
and then replace the sound with the empty sound file you just made

save and it should work

make always a backup in case you mess up with the char snd file

amm... what windows do you have?
vista had that feature removed
if you have vista you need to find a program on the net

i can't tell you exactly where to find it cause i've never seen windows in english and mine is italian

it should be
start>programs>accessories>fun
or something like that

noo no need for the mic, you just start recording and stop right away
this way you have a wav sound file that can't be even heard

You can get away with just removing the sound from the .snd in FF. The Mugen engine will just ignore the playsnd code with the sound is not available.

- delete the sound itself or
- delete the playsnd codes in cns

Thank you all for your answers, but I still have some(too much) probs:

Quote (Lightmatt)

Which sound should I remove and how will I know that?
Quote (sgn_15)
delete the sound itself or

I want to remove only ONE sound not all the sounds of the char.
Quote (sgn_15)
delete the playsnd codes in cns

There are so many playsnd codes in the cns file wacko , and I want to remove only one sound and which is that?

You have to find the state in which the sound plays. Press ctrl + d and you'll be able to see the states in mugen.

You can also open the char using figheter factory and listen to all the sounds until you find the one you want. Then just press the remove sond button and save.

yeah i was talking about deleting that single sound (by deleting it inside FF)

deleting the snd file will make the char error and unplayable, you need to edit the def if youre going to delete the snd file
