Problem with the character select screen.

First off, I was using the EVE screenpack by DJVAN. when I began a test battle, I noticed the background wasn't taking up the full screen, leaving black space half a screen wide around the actual background. After searching the topics here, I found one where someone else was having the same problem. They were told to use winmugen plus. So, I did this. After downloading it, I then copied my folders(data, stages, sound, etc.) over to the winmugen plus. The stages are working fine now, but my character select screen is all messed up, and I don't know how to fix it. Are you sure you haven't overwritten an important file when doing that? Another reason may be that winmugen plus is high res and if the screenpack is low it will be messed up.

Yeah, I got the problem solved. For my purposes anyway. I downloaded a fresh copy of winmugen no limit patch from randomselect, and the EVE screenpack from DJ's site(not the hi-res version), and Now I have the screenpack I want, with the screens and backgrounds working properly. Perhaps eventually, I'll study the screenpack coding myself, and come back to see if I can get it all to work right in the hi-res version. But for now, I'll just continue getting the chars, and stages I want.
