Why dont you try finding Hires stages yourself?
1GB is a lot, I mean really a lot.

hollow ichigo has about 12000 chars too, hes probably more experienced at mugen than us. 1gb is a lot of stages

Umm... I have 15000 chars & 1600 stages (lores) & 114 stages (Hirez)
I cant upload it all cause I have bandwidth limit for Internet (Damn Australian Internet service T_T)
