classical music is great i have to be in the mood for it though.an example of R&B music would be something like boyz to men i don't like r&b but i decided to add as many types of music as i could to the poll so thats why its there.western music is good in the movies but i don't think i cold listen to it anytime. i like the classic rock and acoustic mostly, i used to be big on metal and i'm very selective with hip-hop i guess what i listen to changes day by day depending on my mood. i play guitar so i like alot songs with guitar in them, right now i mainly try to learn chorded acoustic songs i can sing along with.

lol @ top choices being metal and classical

I'm surprised classical was up there, most people think there are no fans of it now n days. I love it though, my favorite modern composer, and probably of all time is Clint Mansell, his works are simply amazing..they take you to a new world

But all types of metal, including progressive/power metal, symphonic power/epic metal, symphonic/melodic black metal, viking/folk metal, gothic metal, doom metal, some melodic death and thrash metal, traditional metal, and yes, even some industrial, alternative, hardrock, and nu-metal!
