Ways to advertise the site

Well ive been here two days and ive already felt likethe forum has lived and died at the same time, why?

BECAUSE MUGEN ISN'T AS POPULAR AS IT WAS IN 2009!!!

So I got to thinking... how can we get more people to join without having some BIG thing to catch their attention and has to come from (thinking as a staff)
and i thought, why not share adds with other popular mugen sites, meaning we make an agreement to put small or medium or watever adds on our sites and the do the same to theirs and another good way is to make the sharing section of the mugen forum exclusive for members only, or at least the links in that section

and again ill say, these are only opinions and ideas

Guys give me character names, stages, and good moves for them to K.O and the another char with and also good music (amv style) so i can make more vids to advertise the site i made one already {Click for video} its Sasuke vs Itachi (MG's obviously) and it has an advertisement of this site at the end i want to keep this up and make more videos only like this (id add sound from the fight but idk how to add them from the computer directly) jeez thats alot lol, but please help me with ideas ^^
