| What are you thoughts on the game? Think it could easily beat Legend of Zelda if it was kept up? IMO the 1st one is awesome, easily beats up quite some Zelda games, but I haven't played the 2nd one... is it any good? BTW I'm willing to do an Alundra char too soon, it'll be a simple edit from GregarLink10's Link sprites, but it'll rock anyways

| I thought the first Alundra was great. It was well put together and comfortably balanced. Quote (MGSSJ2) Think it could easily beat Legend of Zelda if it was kept up? I really did like Alundra a lot, but I felt like that there was nothing really innovative about it. The last Alundra game came out twelve years ago, even if the publishers did release a new Alundra title, I doubt it could beat the LoZ title as a whole. Quote (MGSSJ2) but I haven't played the 2nd one... is it any good? It's not worth your time, don't play it.

Well, the story was quite unique... pretty dark compared to LoZ. Lots of good people die in Alundra, whenever in Zelda even bad ones rarely die.

Yeah, they're really dead now. But if they would have kept Alundra as a saga, maybe it would have given some competition to them.
Quote (sweetfire13) It's not worth your time, don't play it.
I'll take your advice then.

| The adventures of alundra is in my top 5 PS1 games, when i saw this thread i actually thought i made it long ago and it was revived, 'tis nice to see instead that someone else played it and liked it. PS the italian translation of Alundra is TERRIBLE, not like the one in suikoden 2 but still sometimes you don't get what the guys are talking about until you translate it in english and then retranslate it in italian.

| If you guys played Zelda and liked it, then you won't be dissapointed by Alundra. It's for PSX, a must try.

Thanks. The game is really awesome, most of his puzzles are really hard and I like that.

That's why I usually play games in english, the translations suck too much
