| Umm.. ok, did the author mention if the characters are private?
Ive seen games like KOF memorial being decrypted and the chars distributed, but the author isn't really bothered about it

| asrwgm, i am not familiar with that KOF game and creator you mentioned. but probably the creator was "ok" with the chars extracted and distributed because it has been done anyway and chose to not do anything about it.
but all stuff molebox are presumably private. they won't bother the extra work of moleboxing their stuff if it was ok to distribute them in the first place.

i think you misunderstood me. i meant that games that are packed are intended to be played as that same game alone, not distributing the content to anyone.
also, contributor is handed out like a free candy in this site. although even if contributor and mods were trusted, i think it still defeats the idea i was talking about.

I know it was meant for that purpose, but people still decrypt n distribute them, many people want the chars just as a char collection item. or at least usable for MUGEN videos.
I usually get decrypted characters from private communities, and from some sources that I have, so I cant really say I am against game decryption, but I respect the author's wishes that the files are used for a personal MUGEN only
