okay, so im stuck with this, how can i edit the entire layout of mugen, like the logo, the background, but ALSO the animations and stuff with my own coloured images instead of the blue shit?

Either:

A: Download a new premade screenpack; extract/copy/paste the files to the data folder & the fonts folder in the main folder

-or-

B: make your own by editing system.def, system.sff, and system.snd with your own coding & sprites with fighter factory (not FFU).

thanks, got any suggestion of an easy to edit basic hi-res screenpack?

btw, the link and mirror wont work, the official site redirects me to the virtualltek homepageon which i cant get FF, just FFU
