A few problems.

Firstly, this is the most annoying. In MUGEN, some of the stages I download won't show up. Hell, I can't even get the training stage up, and it CAMe with my copy of MUGEN.

Second, Arcade mode. When I first start it up, MUGEN gives me this error.

Now sometimes I'm able to start it up with any character, but after a couple fights, it gives me the same error. What the hell does it mean?

Finally, the music. It's hit or miss. It all works, but it seems to choose when it wants to work. Sometimes it plays, sometimes it doesn't. Some songs play all throughout the stage like they're supposed to, but others don't play at all.

In short, I have some problems I need solved. Does anyone know how to fix any of these?

Are you using the new mugen or the old one?

Some bugged stages cause this charsel.c problem. It happened to me once and i had to remove all stages and add one by one untill find the bugged stage.

Are you sure you're not using a high res stage on normal mugen or vice versa?

The music problem has to do with the plug in you're using

I'm using the old mugen.

I don't know the difference between a hi-res and regular stage.

And the only plugin that wants to work with my copy of MUGEN is in_mad.dll.

Edit: Alright, I've downloaded the latest MUGEN patch, and now I can't use half my characters. To top it off, NONE of the music, save stage music, works.

Some chars don't work on the new mugen, but they are fixing the problems.

Open the stage folder and read the .def file. If it is high res it'll be written there.

I fixed the stage problem, it works fine, now.

I haven't tried the charsel.c problem, yet.

I'm still having trouble with the music. Here's a list of plugins I've tried.

in_cdda
in_mad
in_mod
in_mp3
in_mp3pro
in_mp4
in_nsv
in_vorbis

The only one that wants to work is in_mad.
