Hello all!I'm joining you from Turkey.Although i'm 26 years old,i still love old school video games and i'm a fan of street fighter. After 2-year break,i've come back to make a hi-res mugen game.I've got some trouble with my mugen.Well, after i finish editing my mugen,i turn off my computer. When i start up my computer tomorrow, winmugen.exe doesn't load.I click on winmugen.exe twice,it doesn't react. After changing the winmugen.exe with a new one,it runs smoothly. This problem occurs after every boot.
I'm using Street Fighter IV screen pack,ZedzDead's VF5 ver. 1.0 lifebars and Street Fighter IV intro by Duracellour.I modified this screen pack and increased char slots to 42.

The intro loads too late,it starts to run after 13 seconds and also i can't move the menu while it's running, where as i want it to run as in this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hl_-k4BYLpA
He can move on menu while intro playing in the background.
Here is my pc configuration:
AMD Athlon 64(Venice)3200+ 2.0 ghz socket 939 Processor
1 gb 400 mhz DDR-1 Kingston ram
Asus A8R-MX DDR-1 Motherboard
Asus x1600 Series/Ati 512mb/128 bit Graphic Card
120 gb Samsung sata HDD

Thank you so much....

Maybe your antivirus is detecting mugen as a keylogger. Try to disable your av before double-clicking your mugen.exe. You can also download the new mugen version released by elecbyte and test. Your pc can handle mugen fine.

I don't use any anti-virus.I downloaded RC6 but i could not figure it out, actually i didn't manage to install my screenpack.
Normally my engine has 22x12 slots:

I can install my screenpack without any problems, just dragging chars, font, sound and data folders to my mugen folder:

I've just downloaded another hi-res mugen engine from here.It has 60 slots:
http://www.resimupload.com/ds509543424_namelessness.html
But when i try to install my screen pack to this engine, select screen gets mixed up:

I also tried to change my mugen's original data folder with the new engine's data folder but it didn't work. What's the problem?

Hi!It only runs through windebug.exe or changing winmugen.exe with a new one. What is wrong with it?

If mugen works without your screenpack then the problem is with your screenpack not the engine. The best approach IMO is to roll back your changes one by one until you find the misconfiguration. Test it with only one stage and one char. There are some stages that cause problems.

I've shared my problem in 4 different mugen forums so far and eventually i managed to solve it with your help. The problem is with my screenpack as you guessed.Normally it has 24 slots but i modified it to 42.It runs in normal way in default settings but using it with 42 character slots causing some problems that i mentioned before.Anyway, thanks to you. You're the AKA,Sensei,Mugen doctor man. biggrin
