| So i just spent the last hour working on a piece of crap, rough concept sketch of Alucard--used an official art portrait to occasionally look at while I tried to match the focal structure and feel of Alucard. I soon realized how difficult it is to work on Alucard; the official art is literally unsurpassed and unparalleled--the main artist created Alucard with precise sophistication, beauty, and superiority, but also with a twist of aggression & utter elegance. Looking at the official art, you can see the obvious reasons why nobody has tried to complete an ALucard remake for Mugen: he is seriously frighteningly way too beautiful, this son of Dracula!!! Oh wellz. The more I practice on him will make perfect in due time. I am estimating that I will be completely done with the char in probably 1 year to 1.5 years--unless somebody wants to beat me to it?  
Finally a True Scan of my Concept Work Instead of webcam shots (LoL) Looks like I need a lot more practice before actually producing sprites. =/

I appreciate the compliment a lot! You know my skills suck a bit right now because check it; this Alucard concept sketch was my first in about 3 years of no sketching/drawing/painting-nothing! >_< So my skills took a heavy hit in terms of dwindelling!  I wish I can learn from the original artist of the official Alucard works. GO KONAMI!!!

| THat was an epic battle!!! >_< I kinda knew Alucard was gonna win though--he's a lot more maneuverable than Trevor. Though, Trevor has reach with his whip, he can't attk in 8 directions like Simon Belmont which is a major disadvantage, I think. My Alucard is gonna be soooo king! >_<

Here we have a mimicked (the original concept was done by someone else but I changed a few things in my own way ^_^) Black & White Sketch of Beast Alucard which took me about 2 hours and it's still not even finished! The hardest part about drawing Castlevania characters, I think, is definitely the eyes and/or the clothing.  Added (2009-04-25, 4:38 Am)
