without unzippin the file

Hello guys i have a Q, how i can install the char in mugen without unzippin its file ???


If anyone felt insulted or attacked by someone here then tell me bout it and show me some proofs and ill see what i can do, we wanna keep it friendly here

Took from updates.txt:

- select.def: Added experimental ZIP character support (zipped storyboards not yet supported) .def file must have same name as .zip file

That means you have to use .zip files (not .rar, or .7z), and the char files must be inside the file, and not in a subfolder... Most chars come in a folder, so you will have to unzip them, and rezip the char files.

i tried it once also, didnt work out to well, you have to type something different in the select.def too
i think it was kfm.zip that you had to type (just an example, dont type that for every char, lol)

well i guess they need to release a new version of mugen can read the zip file of the chars
