CHARACTERS ARE VANISHING!!!

| OK so here's the problem: I recently just bought an external hard drive so that I could add more memory to my computer. I transfered all my files from my computer to my hard drive and went about my business tweaking it and what not. Suddenly, I started my MUGEN up one time and I saw that A LOT of my characters just seemed to VANISH! All of the files are there and is perfectly added in the select.def, so what the hell is going on???? How can I get them back?

check the general properties of the files make sure you did not make them hidden on transferring the file from 1 to an other also before entering their name in the select .def file name make sure that your characte names are written correctly in their own folder in which their name is present.
