can't get BGM to loop

...yeah. I can't get the BGM to loop (on old mugen.) I know I'm missing something, but I don't know what. Can anyone help?

did you see in the system.def file if under the [music] section there are theese?
title.bgm.loop = 1
select.bgm.loop = 1
vs.bgm.loop = 1

if they are 0 turn them to 1

if that wasn't the problem it means your problem is the incompatibility of the mp3 files
i suggest you get a ogg plugin and use ogg files instead of mp3

looking for suggestions in youtube helps
anyway it has been reported that in windows 7 there are problems with sound, i'm not sure if it's true

thanks man... but i left out the part that I can't get it to loop on stages either. I tried putting
bgm.loop = 1
in the stage's def file, but it still doesn't loop.
the ogg plugin might be the way to go...
