ok. but i still don't get what rinnegan does. i know it is like eyes for seeing everything the enemy will attack you with, but that does not make sense for mugen, at least for me. so tell me what the hell rinnegan does in mugen when activated. that is why i need to try pain chars with rinnegan as well as his other attacks. but i also need spritesheets yes

| Well to make it simple if you havent read or watched naruto
it makes you like a god mode you can do anything you like summon a meteorite to kill and opponent or remove his soul or just make a gun appear out of nowhere and shoot the opponent etc

ok. so that is when rinnegan mode is activated? or it is always activated?
first time i heard about nagato or pain using a gun. is that really true? >.>
so am i supposed to use all the attacks of the 6 pains for this edo tensei nagato? i read this again

Why not make your rinnegan mode do nothing in particular (like slow-mo cuz that's only with a sharingan) but instead of normal attacks, you use the six paths attacks (shinra tensei, chibaku tensei, animal summoning etc.). When rinnegan isn't activated it can be elemental attacks because according to the naruto wiki, nagato can use all five basic elements. And have a 'block' button and the animation for it will be preta paths chakra absorbing or something.
This is just my opinion though

what are the five elements you meant?
you meant this block button as something still separate from the normal guard (hold back when enemy is nearby and attacking ) of mugen?
i don't watch naruto anime, but i read and am updated with the manga. i actually plan to code nagato having a mode (or maybe not mode) where he will go back to how he was before he got the needles inserted on his back. in his fight against bee, naruto and itachi, he went into that mode (hair turned back to red or black, idk)
your ideas on that mode i am talking about?

| Sgn why don't you just make the opponent freeze when your character activates his rinnengan? It would be a lot easier to code. Or is it that you want to make it unique?

explain what you meant:
- game is paused while i activate rinnegan?

from the wiki, his hair turned white after reviving all those he killed, so his hair was white seconds before his death
when he was revived by kabuto, technically, it was correct that his hair is white. in the manga, there was also a colored page from the author confirming his hair color (i read the manga)

| HEH yeah i know but originally his hair was red but to make it realistic you could make it white you know what make another pallet for him making red and white hair

Something like what kix said but not for so long time
I meant that the opponent should be frozen as if stuck in genjutsu. You might have seen in anime/manga how sasuke castes illusions on people and they see weird things, but actually they are just standing there. I hope you get what I mean?

Anyway,
statistics for Nagato (just my opinions):
Body Type: Normal without machine
Hair Colour: Only Red (if possible)
Rinnegan Mode Techniques: Shinra Tensei (push things away), Chibaku Tensei (create black ball within palm which flies up into the sky-it's gravitational pull sucks up rock to create a moon-like thing with the opponent inside), Bansho Tenin (pulls opponent to you-can add a move where when the opponent arrives close enough, Nagato smashes them down), Animal Path: Summonings (summon multi-headed dog, rhino, centipede, bird, bull etc.), Soul Removal (grabs opponent and removes a blue human-like figure-the soul), Summoning: Demonic Statue of the Outer Path(Gedo Mazo -rocky dude with the blue-dragon puke), Naraka Path (Giant mouth-like thing with purple flames at the bottom-heals Nagato and grabs opponent with purple hand thingo), Asura Path (shoot missiles from hand etc.)-----that's all i can think of for techniques
Rinnegan Mode Appearance: No change to appearance
Normal Mode: Five element techniqes (fire, water, earth, lightning, wind)
Block (hold back when enemy is near/attacking): Preta Path: Chakra absorbing (where Nagato holds out his hands and a blue arch or something appears)
Optional: Summon Konan as helper? Summon the six paths of pain? If animal summonings are too much and there are no keys left, then make another mode for summoning (i don't think there should be an appearance change for this)?

| hair recoloring is just palette. technically you can have 12 crazy hair colors for him if you want
what i originally planned was for nagato to have white hair at start of match, then you can use that mode (when his hair turned to red or black??? when he was fighting itachi, bee and naruto as an edo tensei)
that is basically changing the palette (only for 1.0 feature)

i can do these:
- animals
- konan
- chibaku (done, but i don't like the rock sprites i used)
- shinra
- bansho
- soul removal
- akatsuki statue
- gate of hell (mouth thingy)
give me missile sprites and i will see if i can do something about it ( i am not a spriter, i will just try to use the available sprites of nagato)
for 6 paths of pain, the sprites are basically just shadows, unless someone can give me nzc sprites of those 5 (i have the nzc sheet of yahiko pain)
so for now i will just code normal combos and those 5 elements? i can invent any jutsu with those elements?
