I want to design a character from scratch.... Haku from Naruto and I want it to be Hires
Wanted To know how U feel and probably any advise for me about making a Hires character (in terms of Spriting)
Here is some thing i worked on... his standing sprite

you want to make a spritesheet from that? that would be hella tedious and hard lol
as for comments, i think his hands and arms look a bit weird
the cloth wrapped around the waist needs improvement, as well as the "slit" of his clothes exactly below the cloth belt
overall, unless you find a good spritesheet very similar to any char you want to do where you will just do minimal edits, it would be really hard to accomplish this

Ok sgn_15 Wat kind of adjustments should i make to the cloth around his waist should it be thinner or sumting....

well just make more lines inside the cloth belt but make it more natural looking
not really a spriter but i can only tell you if it looks weird/stiff/unnatural but idk how to fix it
i prefer the stance in the middle of the 3 poses, although it still needs to be fixed

its not a bad start, but i agree it should be more natural looking, but good luck on it
