I'm new to the mugen scene but I've been around the art world for a while. How do you feel about making changes to characters that are not your own? Its a sticky situation when the original author cant be reached but you don't want to keep the work private.
Me I give credit where credit is due and pass the work on.

Those are Edits and add-ons. It's fine as long as you recognize the orginial author, and you don't remove content that's needed (Like movelist, readme, etc.)

I do it, but don't always release them. Mostly make insta-kills and edit coding to certain standards. With most of TeamOmegaPwnageSupreme's DBZ characters, i compare the readme, and cmd. Then, when certain commands don't match the readme, i poke in them until they do, thus, making the commands for the attack legit. Most of my current "Readme on CMD" edits have gone to Supreme Vegito.
