screen pack problem??

hi i have download from here a good screenpack.
in the thread they have said it have 6o characters slot..
but after upgrading i got even lees charecters from the previous one??? angry angry

and my first and last cha.... are not even in the scene..they are overstretched,,
plz help me here,,,
one more thing..
where to put this select.def file as i seen 3 select.def file in normal,normal600 and custom folder..

in the first case the problem occurs i think because the name of the character are not properly written ior the characters slots you have instlled are less thant the character prensent in your mugen in the second case the select file are generally pasted in data folder you have to paste the def file in the data file according to the number of slotas you want it is like a piece of cake

plz sir can u be more informative..coz i m totallt new here..
it has written that it contain 60 cht..slots..
and i have just 25..??? surprised surprised

ok bro let me explain it in steps
1 extract the screenpack file
2 copy the files in your mugen folder
3 it will ask for replace do it
4 there will be three folder each with the select .def file
5 open the secect .def file folder with the maxm number of slots i.e one with 600 slots
6 cut the select and system.def file and replace it with the one present in the mugen data folder
7 run up the mugen
8 enjoy
it is easy like i tel ya above like the piece of cake

it might be a good idea to keep a copy of all of mugen's orignal files.. maybe thats not to late... sad
