I created this thread in order to help people to play to their fullest. Just post any questions you have so that I can help you to my fullest
(just a word of warning: Not all characters recommended by me will be exactly for you)
I'm REALLY good at fighting games so take my advice and see if it helps you any at all.

examples would be:

Q: I'm kinda just starting out in the fighting Genre, is there a character that will help me out until I feel comfortable playing with other characters
A: that's a very good question. and that character is Heart Aino From Arcana Heart

I know what your thinking, what a weak looking little girl. But here me out, she is a badass.
She's an optimal character for both Begginers and the more experienced players

Q: I'm a total Badass at fighting games and i'm looking for a Character that is increadibly tough to use
A: well, there is always Liselotte from arcana heart also

she has one of the most complex fighting systems ever. not ever recommended for the less experience at all.

stuff like that. and I'll be sure to add a link for the characters, don't worry

Okay, you want a character that likes to cancel attacks huh?
there is a lot of them out there. Use ones that have a lot of projectile attacks
but the one that works for me is Iori Yagami from King of Fighters

its because he has a projectile attack that runs on the ground instead of in the middle of the screen.
Its good for suprising your enemy and canceling attacks.

Okay, what you don't understand or what I don't understand is when you say "cancel" I think of "interupt"
there is no character that I can think of that actually full on stop the opponent from actually touching you every time
and if you know how to use ryu from street fighter, then you know how to use iori Yagami

this is standard stuff for me so I think you can pull off a few "interruptions"

cancel-to cancel your last hyper move to use another one immediately
and btw, the char you gave me was orochi iori. i need iori.(or someone else)

Orochi Iori is the same guy.
only more stronger and faster, but not cheap

and thats just not my style to use moves like that.
I never seen a character that can do that on mugen

no, you see orochi iori's moves are harder to do. i mean, even in the videogames i played back then, like: snk vs capcom svc chaos, i had a hard time using orochi iori. (plus, to tell you the truth, he creeps me out a bit)
