Naruto Mugen not working o.O

I downloaded Naruto mugen, have characters set up but then a black screen appears when I open app! What's up with that o.O

Its set to fullscreen mode I'm betting, to fix this go into the mugen folder->data->open mugen.cfg with notepad.

-Hit Ctrl+F
-search "Video win"
-Look for this:

;DirectX mode
DXmode = hardware -or- software (Change this to "windowed")

-save

If that's still giving you trouble then its your own fault for downloading a compilation.
